This 10 round Junior Lightweight bout between eventual 3-time world super featherweight / junior lightweight champion Rocky Lockridge against a very good club fighter in Dennis Cruz….who ended his professional career with 27 wins 4 losses…..for this was a pretty darn good fight with a devasting 3-punch combination in the 7th round that gave Rocky his 33 KO in his 45 professional fights at this stage of his career.
Rick “Rocky” Lockridge is an American former professional boxer….who is best known for handing Roger Mayweather in his first defeat of his career with first-round knockout in just 98 seconds…..for Rocky could punch and was quite talented at the art of combination punches…..as displayed in this video herewith. Lockridge won the WBA and Lineal Super Featherweight titles with his dramatic win over Mayweather. He later won the IBF super featherweight title.against then champ Barry Michael.
