DOG ASIDE:
Without question, there is special kind of magic that lives in and around the Boston area….which we at ImaSportsphile are of the opinion that it belongs to a “Merlin-esque magician” named Robert Kraft….who wields a wan of magic in hiring coaches who know how to be a champion….and they always seem to be really “straight up “ guys….who take blame for their teams ineffectiveness…..who were good ole boys who don’t have a lot of “bells and whistles” attached….with a “next man up” kind of mentality…..as the five head coaches during the Robert Kraft era of ownership of the Pats with above 500 team career records were Chuck Fairbanks (.541), Ray Berry (.557), Bill Parcells (.500), Pete Carroll (.562) and Bill Belichick (.739)….as all of them, except for Carroll, all pretty much shy’d away from the camera…..but they all had some of the Robert Kraft “magic dust” in their DNA.
As an accredited Sportsphile….I can honestly say that I enjoyed this interview between two football hall of fame wide receivers….as good questions were asked…..and even betterr reponses were delivered.
