Comedy – 1979 – Special – Martin Mull Live In Concert

DOG COMMENTARY:

One of my favorite comedians of all time is Martin Mull….who in our opinion at ImaSportsphile….is the best “sit-down comedian” of all time….and this live Mull concert provides ample evidence of our opinion….in addition to a whole bunch of laughs….as his songs like I Wanna Be God…. I’ve Played Some S***holes Before, But This Takes The Cake…..and Last Night I Took You Home And We Began To Hmmmm….just put me on the floor in stitches.

Martin Mull is an American actor, comedian, and singer who has appeared in many television and film roles over his 42 year acting career…..who also is a painter and recording artist.  As an actor, he first became known in his role on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman and its spin-off Fernwood 2 Night….along with  other notable roles such as Colonel Mustard in the 1985 film Clue….Leon Carp on Roseanne….Willard Kraft on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch….Vlad Plasmius on Danny Phantom….Gene Parmesan on Arrested Development….and Charlie Sheen’s pharmacist on Two and a Half Men….for in whatever role Mull played, he seemed to always make you laugh.

This live Martin Mull concert from 1979 is an absolute hoot….as Mull provides his “somewhat twisted” view of comedy and music…..when he provides the viewer with a full array of his comedic and entertainment talents….so, it is easy to understand why this lil ole chiweenie Sportsphile has such a high opinion of his God given ability to make folks laugh.
